Australian funny man Andy Lee was left without his two front teeth after a radio stunt went wrong yesterday.

The co-host of the highly rating drive show: The Hamish and Andy Show will now face dental surgery after having his two front teeth smashed out in a match of ice hockey.

Teaming up with his radio partner Hamish Blake, Lee copped a whack to the head, which ended in dire consequences.

While Lee managed to laugh the mater off, the same can’t be said for his girlfriend, supermodel Megan Gale, who was reportedly furious at the incident, and at her boyfriend for ignoring her advice to wear a mouth guard.

“Megan was really angry when I told her because she said, ‘make sure you wear a mouth guard’ before I left, so now she has major ‘I told you so’ rights,” Lee said.

“Maybe it will be too much and I’ll have to cut myself loose from her.

“Or maybe not. I don’t think I’m going to leave her and she’s slowly coming around to sympathizing with me.”

The ice hockey stunt was part of a “Bi Bi Tri Bi-athalon” the station was running where they were aiming to compete in 24 sporting events over just three days.

The challenge will now be postponed with the Aussie Rules, rugby league, indoor cricket and boxing legs of the stunt put back until Lee’s new teeth are fit and ready.

Lee’s injury will see one of his teeth capped while another will need to be totally replaced.
