Pop singer Britney Spears has announced she will perform her first Australian tour this year when she brings her Circus tour to the stage. The pop princess will perform six concerts in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and will begin the tour on November 6.
A statement on Spears’s website said the Circus tour will begin in Perth and wrap up in Brisbane on November 24. Spears told The Age she was excited about coming to Australia to perform. “I’ve wanted to tour Australia for quite some time and now it’s finally happening,” she said.
The Circus tour has only just kicked off in the US in March and it has been the pop singers first major tour since her personal break down. Spears suffered her personal problems after he split with ex-husband Kevin Federline but has rebuilt her pop princess career in the past year.
Now Spears is yet again enjoying chart-topping success and has received praise for concert reviews, still remaining a pop music icon.
This is the first time Spears will perform here due to her cancellations of concerts in 2004 after she suffered a knee injury. Her Australian Circus Tour dates are as follows-
November 6th: Perth
November 11th: Melbourne
November 12th: Melbourne
November 19th: Sydney
November 20th: Sydney
November 24th: Brisbane
