There’s been a Logie’s reshuffle.
KD Lang is in, while Susan Boyle is out!
That’s right, the Scottish reality singing sensation has pulled out of the annual Australian TV awards nights because she is feeling too tired.
Boyle rose to fame after her amazing performances on the singing show, The X-Factor, and since then has been performing numerous concerts and gigs around the world.
She has turned into a woman in demand and Australia has embraced her, really wanting her to be part of one of our most prestigious nights.
However, Boyle did not repay the love for down under, saying she would rather rest and take it easy, then make the trip down south.
The replacement isn’t that bad but, KD Lang is a much loved figure on our shores and was excited when delivered the news she would be the replacement.
“To be honest, I am always so happy to be in Australia and this is a small way to say thanks to everyone who has been so supportive of me down there for the past 20 years,” Lang said.
“And there are some places I need to hit that I’ve missed since I was last there.”
The Canadian artist is working on her new album at the moment, and also mentioned she would reveal a few of her new ones on the night.
“It’s funny because I was having it made just to have it but, you know, celebrities just have to be ready for their big moment,” she said.
