Twilight star Robert Pattinson has learnt of the hazards of New York City filming after he was struck by a cab on Thursday. Pattinson was hit by a taxi after running from fans RadarOnline.com said.
The actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the popular Twilight film was hit around noon on Broadway and 12th street but was not hurt, according to RadarOnline.com.
Pattinson had spent the morning inside filming scenes for his new film “Remember Me” but stepped out to find a crowd of screaming teenage girls. The actor and his five guards crossed the road and was hit by a cab.
The bodyguards were not thrilled with the fans saying “You see what you did, you almost killed him!” according to RadarOnline.
Pattinson could face more crowds in the next four weeks as he will be shooting more scenes for the film in Manhattan.
