The reality TV show- which aims to give a record deal to a hopeful singer has successfully completed the eighth series, the eighth still as popular as the first.

The Idol’s will answer your questions you asked on air; only they will do so via social networking sites Twitter and Facebook.

Talk show host Larry King is embracing social networking and will get your favourite American Idol’s to answer questions you posted online. This is the first time in the eight seasons that the top ten Idol’s will answer questions talked about on the social networking sites.

Die hard fans can submit their questions to the Idol’s via Facebook (at CNN’s fan page) or Tweet the question to by adding the hashtag #LKL to the end of your tweet. But social networkers better get posting, as only one question per Idol will be asked live on the show.
