Australia is set to lose one of it’s most controversial and fiery politicians to date.

Former One Nation leader, Pauline Hanson is set to pack her bags and move to the UK, saying she has had enough of Australian Politics, and is one with life down under.

In a tell all account in a feature interview with Woman’s Day magazine, the once fish and chip shop owner form Ipswich said that the nation she once loved has changed too much over the past decades.

Heavily criticized for being racist and narcissistic during her years as a politician, Hanson has told the magazine that she just wants to find peace in her later stages of life.

“I’ve really had enough. I want peace in my life. I want contentment and that’s what I’m aiming for,” she said.

“Sadly, the land of opportunity is no more applicable.”

In the interview, Hanson also shut down any chance for a return saying she promised to be away “indefinitely”.

“It’s pretty much goodbye forever,” Hanson said.

The fiery red heads career in politics was a series of ups and downs.

The being voted the Oxley MP for Australia, she then went through a rough patch that saw her end up in jail for electoral fraud.

At the same time, however, the industry has provided her with a solid income. She received $200,000 from taxpayers for a failed Senate bid in 2007 and almost the same amount in 2004.

Ms Hanson’s Pauline’s United Australia Party still remains registered with the Australian Electoral Commission.
