Dogs love being close to their owner, and small dogs have become the latest handbag accessory. Paris Hilton loves taking her pooch with her on daily outings and it can be a rewarding experience; that is until the dog begins to bark.

Attempting to stop your dog from barking can be a stressful experience. If you rolled up newspapers, water spray or loud noises don’t work. Perhaps you should try the latest canine product Bark Smart.

The Smart Home product has had mixed reviews, attempting to stop your dog from barking by sending out ultrasonic signals that only they can hear.

Bark Smart is activated once the dog starts barking, sending out signals that supposedly irate the dog, hence stop it from barking.

The product is aimed to teach dogs that their barking causes the irritating sound, and they will learn that in order for it to cease, they too must stop.

Deluxe versions of Bark Smart have twin speakers with wider ultrasonic range and timer control that lets you set a time for it to be active.

There are audible and ultrasonic modes, but both signal to your dog ultrasonically. The LED light will also show you when the Bark Smart is active, and working.

This product may not work for your dog, but may be worth trying if you have exhausted all other options.
