American rapper Dizzee Rascal is proving to be a handful on his tour of Australia.

As a headlining act for the nationwide Big Day Out music festivals, Dizzee Rascal has already caused his fair share of headaches.

Firstly we saw him lose it in Brisbane when a crowd member threw a deodorant stick at his head, which triggered the rapper to throw his mic down, storm off the stage and try to man handle the offender.

Luckily, security guars were able to settle Rascal down before anything too bad could happen.

However, just when we thought he had found his manners again, another incident has splashed back into the media headlines.

This time, the rapper spat the dummy at a news reporter during an interview.

Alison Stephenson was reporting for a news website, doing a review for the muic section when Dizzee lost his cool.

Here is a transcript of what was said:

Stephenson: “What happened then?”

Dizzee: “Well I stacked it, innit.”

Some light-hearted banter followed, but things went sour when Stephenson joked, “So, you didn’t eat the floor or anything like that?”

Dizzee lost his cool. “What the f–k do you want from me, man, I’ve already said I done it. Yeah I stacked it, bitch. Fuck!”

The interview finished right there but the controversy continued when Stephensen was ushered backstage where a BDO official asked her to sign a contract demanding she delete the interview.

Stephenson declined, much to the dislike of officials, and the Dizzee Rascal camp.
